Police in Germany have too much access to personal online data, top court says

Germany’s Constitutional Court has ruled that current police access to personal data from phone and internet users is unconstitutional. The suit, brought by over 6,000 plaintiffs, was filed in 2013 by the current European Pirate Party politician.
