Nearly one hundred complaints from Russian women handed to the ECtHR
Earlier the Russian Ministry of Justice announced that the ECtHR received only six such complaints for the period from 2010 to 2018. The Ministry’s announcement was related to the European Court’s decision on the case of Valeria Volodina, who on 9 July 2019 was awarded 25,000 euro compensation for the police inaction and harassment from a former partner.
