Dutch city first in the world to ban meat ads
City of Haarlem in The Netherlands set the first case of a ban of most meat ads from public spaces because of the food’s climate impact. The authorities of the city has not yet decided if the ban will be applied to the sustainably produced meat. As the decisionmakers meet some opposition from meat producers, the ban will be enforced in 2024.
