Olga Salomatova

Olga Salomatova is a lawyer, human rights and democracy expert and trainer. She has extensive experience in human rights monitoring, including that of closed institutions, freedom of assembly, and trial monitoring. Olga is a graduate of the Third Human Rights Course of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (Warsaw). She has been working for the Foundation since 2006 in various capacities, currently as an International Projects Coordinator.

Black Friday for the Secular State

One part of the Polish society is trying to liberalize the abortion law, one of the most restrictive in Europe, while the other part, headed by the Polish Catholic church, insists on restrict it even more and make any abortion illegal.
