Women in the North Caucasus face serious risks and often become victims of violence but cannot find legal protection either in or outside Russia.
Valentina Likhoshva holds a PhD in psychology. Since 2014, she has headed the psychological support service at the Maximum Regional Group (Murmansk). Since 2018 Valentina is the head of the psychological support service at the Moscow Community Center for LGBT+ Initiatives.
