Lev Levinson

Lev is a journalist and has been active in the Russian human rights movement since 1992. He worked in the Russian Supreme Council and then the first, second, and third State Duma. In 1996, he co-founded the Non-Governmental Freedom of Conscience Committee. Mr. Levinson is now an expert for the Human Rights Institute and Moscow Helsinki Group, and board member of the Public Verdict Foundation. Lev manages a project called Online Legal Advice on Drug-Related Accusations.
